The Tulsa Police Department is taking the Polar Plunge to raise money for Special Olympics Oklahoma.

Two Tulsa Police Academy teams will be marching into the icy water at Safari Joe's H20 Water Park on Feb. 23.

Tulsa police say they are making this a tradition and the entire training staff has pledged to go into the cold water twice if both teams raise at least $8,000.

You can donate to the Tulsa Police Academy Class 114 team or 115 team.

All money goes directly to Special Olympics Oklahoma.
